Snap Shots of the Bretz Bunch

Abigail reading to her stuffed lamb with her new patio set. It has bugs on it and yes...it is now outdoors.
Abigail watching Daddy put together the shed.
The Bretz Family heading out to dinner.
Abi loving her little pink chair.
The chairs are what some places will give you instead of a high chair. I fell in love with them and had to have one. Pink of course.
Getting ready for the first outing on the island. If you look close, you can see Miss Abigail is wearing her first pair of shoes. Once again...you guessed it...pink!
Sitting in her chair fpr the first time.
Abigail being SO Jackie O!

Okinawa World

An eel Eric took a picture of. It was inside the cave. Yes, I know you can't see it, but it's there. Talk to him about that.
Another fish!
Inside the cave.

We went to a place called Okinawa world. We thought it was an amusement park, but soon discovered it wasn't. It had a cave exhibit, which is one of the largest caves in Asia (I believe). They showed you how the pottery was made, how they grow the fruits and how the Habu snakes are used in Habu Sake (a snake liquor drink, if you will).

Our Fisrt Beach Trip

The view from where we were. I know, I know...you're jealious!!
Eric getting ready to snorkel
The Japanese kids love Abigail. Here, they surround her and just watch her and laugh.
Abigail soakin' up the sun with a mouth full of sand, which by the way she loves to eat!

~
We decided to take in the beautiful beaches by driving up to the north end of the island. It took us about 2 hours to get there. We explored the ice cream shop first where we had sugar can ice cream wrapped in a soft waffle. Yummie!! We walked across the street where we were one of two families on the entire beach. The other family was Japanese. Communicating was fun and funny. We all laughed!

Orion Beer Festival

Abigail wasn't even scared of the crazy man in paint. :) The Kamonos (I'm not sure that's how you spell it) are worn during the summer months at festivals.
The dancers took the whole football field. It was very cool to watch.
Abi and Eric sharing an flavored Icy.

Our first festival would be the beer festival. HA! It was so much fun. Eric and I had to have at least one beer while we were there. Abigail had four until we demanded she stop because she had to drive. :)

Abigail's Playdate

I started taking Abigail to playdate Thursdays. It is an hour and a half full of singing, playing and storytime. She loves it.
There is a cute video clip of this and once I figure out how to upload it, I'll have it for you.
